Room for improvement why not have comments integrated here as it should be too in the wsj app ! Something that is missing here and make me missing the web pages of it If not ... Just great !

The new version 3.0 doesnt work. I cant open it. Last version was much better.
There is no option to have someone read the articles out to you, like they have in the economist app.
Less new Information! Only few new articles a day!
Zero content unless you subscribe--all you get is the front page. Waste of time.
I subscribe to barrons online. Have been waiting for this. Works similar to WSJ app. Fantastic.
I enjoy reading it on my iPad . Its simple and easy.
Now this is the kind of thing I bought the iPad for. Elegant and simple. Price? Heres where the grin usually turns into a grimace with iPad publications - but not here. The weekly sub is priced about the same as a good cup of coffee.
Review update: I am surprised nothing has been done to fix the poor readability of the font and the limited text size options. The more I read issues displayed in this font the more irritating it becomes. Original review: Decent app for subscribers. Display needs some more thought. The WSJ app works better. Type size selection is odd. Medium is too small, large too big. Font is also less clear than most other apps, including the WSJ.
One of the best iPad apps out there. Must be a subscriber to take advantage of great articles and features.
This app needs to improve a lot to make it as accessible as the print version. I would advise that they change the layout so that you start at the cover and can flip through the app in the same way that you flip through the paper. It seems very disjointed having it organized by columns and features etc. The app should remember your spot when you leave the app and then come back. This is very frustrating, especially if you are in the middle of a longer article. As well, often when I have been in the middle of an article and swipe to continue, it brings me to one of the content pages as opposed to the rest of the article. This is very frustrating. Also, if you are like me and read Barrons for much of the statistical information, this is incomplete. Much of the Market Data is missing which is frustrating as there are certain things I cant find elsewhere. I think the developers need to rethink how they present the information through this app. I am not sure to model it after the WSJ makes sense, as they are very different papers.
The app is designed well, but suffers from a lack of HD. This is noticeable on my older iPad, but really pronounced on the new iPad. The blurry text is just unreadable. I am considering canceling my subscription until an update is made available. Dont waste your money until/if an upgrade comes.
Dont understand what holds them from upgrading the app to support Retina Screen. WSJ has done it long time ago. They belong to the publisher.
Does not make clear a paid subscription is required. AND beyond ridiculous does not let you buy one. #fail
The end of August brought a surprising and welcome update: Dow Jones has finally updated the Barrons app to support both the retina display of the latest iPad, and the multitasking features of iOS 5! I had truly given up hope and thought the publishers had abandoned the app. The app now works very well for offline reading of Barrons content (subscription required). It appears that they also fixed an annoying tendency for the app to navigate to the table of contents instead of the next page. I am very happy! I am rating the app as 4 stars out of 5, because its good, but not perfect. I notice that the graphics arent quite "retina" quality (bitmapped text is still fuzzy, etc.), and I think there is room for improvement re: the article navigation bar on the right. It would be better if this could be hidden to allow the article to use the entire screen area. Overall I can now recommend the app to any Barrons subscriber with an iPad.
Extremely user friendly. Easy to switch sections. Love it,
Excellent and worthy of consideration
It will be better to add a stock quote function in this app. Also, it should add a function to allow user to view articles in a single page.
A great improvement to the paper edition, with access to video, graphic charts, and best, previous editions.
Great source of investment ideas and advice! Tremendous amount of information to keep you informed of the latest information on individual companies and investment strategies. A must have for individual investors and advisors looking to help their clients.
